I came here with a friend and the service was great, the food was super good for the prize and they had a good amount of options. The tables were close together but we didn't find it uncomfortable. Would recommend for a date or small group of friends.

The restaurant is very small and cramped. I got seated on the counter. Service was fast and efficient. I ordered the Daikokuya Reman combo with a small Beef Bowl. The ramen was delicious. The chashu melted in my mouth like butter. The bamboo shoots added great texture. The beef bowl, although small was supreme. Very reminiscent of Yoshinoya. And I love Yoshinoya. Overall, a great experience.

We usually go to the location in Little Tokyo but in the area so we wanted to try it. We just missed the "Monterey Park Lunch Specials" by 10 minutes, ends at 3 pm. But...the bento box options look really good! As you can see we got two ramen sets with fried rice on one and pork tonkatsu on the other. Consistency is the key to any good restaurant and it's hard when you have multiple locations. I will say that everything was good, but I think the pork tonkatsu was a little old and wasn't freshly made. The meat was very dry and that was a big sign. Other than that, everything else was great. I think Daikokuya, in Little Tokyo, is probably Top 5 in the LA area, mainly because of their extra fatty broth! Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 Cleanliness 9/10 Bathroom 9/10 Food 8.5/10 Value 9/10 Will I Return? Yes, for the lunch specials!
